Finally, on February 26, Humanities Texas will partner with the Texas State Historical Association to hold a one-day workshop on Texas history from Reconstruction to the present.
The workshop faculty includes Randolph B. Cummins Austin College , Michael L. Gillette Humanities Texas , Joseph A. All workshops are free and will feature close interaction with scholars, the examination of primary sources, and the development of effective pedagogical strategies and engaging assignments and activities.
Content will be aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills TEKS , and particular emphasis will be placed on newly added or revised standards. His research interests are the history of Tejanos and the borderlands of Mexico and the United States.
