They have always been friends. They live in a polygamist cult. They have been cut off from the wider world though Caleb has more access as he gets to go into town for supplies. They are in love with each other though Josh is a bit clueless as to the fact the Caleb returns his feelings. This is a sweet romance and a triumphant one. Josh and Caleb fight hard for happiness. They escape, they adjust, they act on their love, they make a life for themselves. More interesting to me is the working out of rank and power dynamics after leaving those set by the cult. Caleb, to me, would have a bit more culture shock than he does but it is a small annoyance.

I love how we stay with this couple deep into a hard earned HEA. An avowed geek, Tommy comes in daily to flirt, usually under the guise of Trekkie talk. But when Tommy compares him to an unemotional Vulcan, Tavio finally considers dating an out-and-proud nerd. Then Tommy surprises him again and introduces him to his daughter, whom Tommy loves even more than Star Trek or Tavio. Now Tavio has a whole new decision to make: Is he ready to romance a family man?

Oh, R. Copper, you frustrate me. As always the writing, situation and characters are gorgeous. This romance is hot and sweet and everything good and compelling. It is a slow burn. I don't mind that we get a fade to black sex scene though okay I prefer not but I needed more scenes after they started dating. Dennie Banks is an investigative reporter chasing down the biggest story of her career. Alec Prentice is a government agent working undercover to catch an elusive grifter. As the confusion grows, so do their feelings for each other, and what begins as a romantic comedy of errors may just end in the love affair of a lifetime.

Kelly Davidson has waited forever to graduate high school and get out of his small-minded, small town. Everyone here is already out. In fact, Kelly could be the only virgin on campus. Everyone is better off having as much fun as possible with as many people as possible…except his shy, sad little sack of a roommate is seriously screwing up his world view.
