So I finished 'Fear to Tread' a couple of days ago and though it wasn't among the best of the HH series, and has some cringe worthy pieces of writing, I would still recommend you read if you're interested in the Signus betrayal. The First Legion have never really kindled much interest in me.
I find them too mysterious and enigmatic for my liking, but they do have the Lion, one of only two Primarchs that my boy Roboute looked up to, so if he's written well, those sections could keep me interested.
