Very good and wellvritten entry in the Raksura series. Stronger than the previous book in the series. As always an plotdriven and original fantasy novel with great worldbuilding, where the detailing of the settings and the depth of personality of the characters contribute to a must read. I hope there are more books set in this world in the future, though Moon will be a tough act to follow.
As in The fall og Ile-Rien books, the story ends on a hopeful, yet uncertain, note, leaving the destinies of the protagonists unwritten and thus up to them and the reader. Excellent third book to the series. I love the way she takes on gender and upsets the whole gender role tropes. And makes everyone a contributor to the Raksura society.
